Named Accountable GP

All patients (including children) have been allocated a Named Accountable GP, as required under the GMS Contract.

Please ask at reception should you wish to know who your Named Accountable GP is.

You can continue to see any Doctor or Nurse of your choice and your clinical care will not be affected.

Friends & Family Test

Get Active!



Get up. Get out. Get Active!


Get Active is a free website that provides an online directory to provide information about the wide range of physical activity opportunities that are offered for adults by many different organisations in Bolton.


Activities vary from over 50's chair based exercise to zumba. There may be a charge for some activities but this will be listed next to the exercise along with the day, time and place.


Get Active also provide rehabilation programmes for people who are suffering or recovering from cancer, cardiac conditions such as heart attacks, angina or recovering from a bypass. They also provide rehabilitation programmes for people with pulmonary diseases such as asthma and COPD. If you are suffering from any of the above conditions and would like to be referred to this service please contact your consultant at the hospital.


Get Active also accept referrals for specialist weight management if your BMI is over 40. You initially need to see your doctor who will refer you to the Specialist Weight Managment Team and then the specialist can refer you on to Get Active.
